My question is, do you still want the pipe? This is so typical of Ebay stuff, when you get used goods. I have found myself in similar situations with lower cost goods many times. You could look at it as a rare pipe customized by the Jammer himself!

I'd take Jeff Jacobs word on that pipe of it being good... But I would still take the $100... You got to get it worked on, I know he didn't say it was good, but he didn't say it wasn't bad.....

I think you will be forgetting all about this after your first ride with it. Just think of all that power. I was with a fellow racer when Tim Tynan handed him a new pipe he bought. He said OH !! your going to install it on a super jet ,hang on a second. He went to his white Dodge truck and got a BFH (hammer) and took that pipe out to the curb and whacked it hard until it looked liked yours.... I saw it with my own eyes.

I don't care who he is. Take the $100. He did not represent the item perfectly. All he had to do was mention the fact that it was dented for clearance and then you would not have been bumbed out when you saw it.

I hate to bust the bubble but.. IMO after talking to lots O people, I dont think they run as good as a "B" with lower HP engines.. You need to be close to the limit (BIG BIG bore, power valves, etc.) looking for that lil extra..

I bought one for bling.. nothing else.. if I can get it to run as good as a "B" I will be happy.

now if my bling BLING has a dent where I can see it for no reason.. errrrrrrrrrr I will be taking it to a pipe fabricator and have them cut it out, install a SS plate (has to be better that BFH marks) and shine it up and then I can BLING with the best of them..

Thats fine, I'm out for the bling factor myself. I know it will be better than my ratty old pro-tec pipe I've ran for the last 5 years. As far as performance goes, the pipe will be there if/when I do get a big bore kit someday. My jetski is and always will be a work-in-progress

-after writing jeff and insisting he not refund any money, he did anyways. Thanks!

The one I've got is dented in EXACTLY the same locations. I don't believe it was mis-represented. It looks like to me it's a used pipe in great condition. If you'll polish it, it'll be much less noticeable.

Sorry Charles, but respectfully, the condition was not stated correctly and by hiding this fact it was definitely mis-represented.

As said before, all you had to do was put a sentance saying 'it is dented for clearance' and you cover yourself. At least then, the buyer can ask for other pictures.

The fact that Jeff Jacobs sold it has nothing to do with whether or not the description was mis-represented.

Take the Hundy and run the bestard!

T-bone

brraap....thats so 2002
the oneto clear the exhaust manifoldlooks ok, but the one to clear the hull looks like a crazy man with a hammer atacked it, itthe exact samething im doing to my blaster mod pipe to get it to work, but im tking a little more care not to insanely pound it to death.

I guess you're right about adding a disclaimer. I don't believe I'd think much of the dent, but it would have been more accurate to mention it.
