Destin, FL riding/rentals

I am going on a family vacation in August to Destin/Miramar Beach, FL. We are staying right on the beach and was wondering if anyone knew of a local place that had superjet rentals or something similar. All I can find are couch rentals. I don't even know if there is a place that would let me ride one in the surf. I have never looked into this so I apologize for my ignorance.

Secondly, does anyone ride around that area? I'm from Missouri so I never see any surf riding. Went to SC years ago but could never find a stand up to ride. As we were leaving to head home I see a guy pull in down the road where we stayed with two Superjets. So I am trying to get ahead on this trip and see if I can't set anything up. Hell I just want to see some people ride if anything! Thanks for the help!

I'm fairly sure all they will rent are couches. Would you rent your superjet to a stranger to ride in the surf? (I wouldn't) Years ago we were surf riding in Destin and a guy on a couch came out and rode with us. He was a air force pilot in town and asked the rental guy if he could ride in the surf. They made him prove that he had the skill to do so and they let him. It was kind of funny because every time he got some good air the seat would come off.
On a side note they have a 300 foot no wake zone all along the beach. We would ride at outer sides of the Destin pass. Surf is better there anyway.
