Did you know that by age 50, the average Superjet owner has 50% less red meat deposited in their colon compared to a non-jetskiing person...?

Ok do you data to back your numbers or is this based on your personal experiences:biggrin:  LOL

pardon my nubie ness whats the crossbar?? that what holds the pad?
these bolt right on? Guess I should get a diffent finger throttle, and new grips?

I'll definatly order the bilge pump, and the grate. Wont be able to ride here till end of may so I got some time to put a few goodies on it. IF the weather doesn't improve prolly wont get to ride till later!

Right now you should have a black pad that covers the center of you bars. You will have to lose this in order to install 0 degree bars. The "crossbar" has a pad so you don't lose teeth on your steering plate without the stock pad. Personally, I like the stock throttle, get a set of ODI grips. I like those the best and they look good too. ODI has two different types of grips, ruffian and rogue. Ruffians are harder while the rogues are soft and somewhat sticky.

Where is "here"?

For grips, go for ODI - but you HAVE to get new bars then because they won't clamp down onto the slightly smaller diameter stock bars. Yes, the crossbar is where the pad is on the bars - you can buy bars without (for a bit less) but padding is good  Stick to the stock throttle until you break it....

Everything will bolt on ok. There is a piece of plastic on the start/stop switch that you will have to grind down to make it fit on aftermarket bars. You will see what I mean when you put them on though. No big deal.

I have posted this before, but I figured I would copy and paste it into your thread so you can see a good step by step break down for modding an SJ.

Honestly I think it's best to take it in stages kind of like Wamiltons steps he has on his website. I know they're kinda cheesy and his packages definitely are not the cheapest route, but I agree with his logic.

This is how I would do it.

Stage 1
-Worx 201 Intake Grate/JD Intake Grate
-Skat Swirl
-Stick with stock rideplate for now(D-cut later)
-0 Deg Bars

Stage 2
-Footholds/Turf
-Shorten Stock Handlepole
-Shortened Turn Plate and UMI Steering if you dont mind spending a little more
-Seal Stock Hood!!!

Stage 3
-Bpipe
-Girdled Head
-Carbon Tech Low Tension Reeds (Until you're ready to spend the big bucks on some really good reeds)

Stage 4
-Enhancer/Modified Stock CDI
-Lightened Flywheel

Stage 5
-Porting
-Bigger Carbs
-Better Reeds

Stage 6
-Aftermarket Hood
-Aftermarket Handlepole
-Scupper

Right now I've completed stages 1-3, enhancer, and a few other things I have added along the way. So far I am very very happy with my setup. :Banane01: Now if you preferred more power before footholds/shortened handlepole then you can go for Stage 3 or at least a bpipe before you start on Stage 2. Personally I think Stage 2 should come first though because they are relatively cheap/free mods that require more time/labor on your part than anything else.

Whats really cool about doing it that way is if you're someone like me who is relatively new to the sport and wrenching then you can do pretty much everything yourself up until Stage 5. When it comes to tuning the ski the package you have put together is such a common package that you can get a ton of help and guidance. I've learned so much in the past couple of months setting up my ski and definitely wouldn't have been able to do it without the X and some really helpful friends.

:hail: :hail: :hail: X-H20

By the time you are ready to get into Porting and bigger carbs you have a good understanding of the 701 and you'll be able to get the most out of and properly tune that new ported motor.

Good Luck:biggthumpup:

oookaay - did he buy it or not, and if he bought it is he now selling it on ebay?? Not that thats not possible, just seems odd to me. Oh well.

Other possibility - the seller hasn't taken the ad down yet.

The Original Post has the pictures from ebay also. If he really bought it then the seller should take down the listing.

Someone should call the number in the ebay ad and figure this out.
