Did I just buy a Bigbore 61x ?!?!

This cannot be true. I just bought a 61x cylinder for $50... I great deal in itself. I go to meassure it to see the piston size and im reading just over 85mm. Im new to these things but Im thinking this MIGHT be a bigbore cylinder? Or maybe shes all bored out... but that only goes upto 84mm i thought? Ive included a couple pictures. Tell me what you guys think!

By the looks of the sleeves you need to install new ones. A bit on the thin side. Just a over bored 701.

I'm running 86mm on a 62t. yours looks thicker than mine. I'd run it.

i ran 84.5/180psi for a loong time with no prob.i will do it again before i buy bb sleeves,thats for sure:wink:

measure the diameter of lower part of sleeves. it that outer diameter is 90mm go for it and if it is like 86 then i wouldnt go...

I have quite similar cylinder... Stock 61x cylinder with 760 stock sleeves which are overbored to 85.5... there is like 2.25 mm sleeve thickness at the lower part...

Im figuring also how big those bigbore sleeves are? What lasleeve and protec exemple sells... Is those like 94 all the way or how. Because in mine cylinder the aluminium cast of cylinder are veryvery thin and easy to crack...

Im also making deck plate for mine cylinder, so it will last better...

Cylinder came from a guy over on pwctoday, the bottom is 90mm total OD. The ID is 85.5mm- little under or my caliper just sucks...

yeah... this is 61x cast with 760 sleeve. Just like mine...

Am I looking at this wrong or what? To me it appears that you have about 4mm thick sleeves (give or take)?

It looks like an aftermarket sleeve to me. I thought the 760 sleeves get thinner where they go in to the cases.
