Difference between the 1100zxi and 900zxi

What is the difference in the exhaust manifold and pipe. I heard the 900 is smaller and will that work on an 1100 engine I’m trying to put an 1100 in a 650sx but the exaust needs to be cut and it’s not easy metal to work with so I’m trying to find a smaller option which will keep noise down as much as possible thanks

exhaust has nothing to do with noise. Your waterbox is what will help with that. Just stick with the OEM Waterbox.

900 manifold ports are much smaller, same with the pipe. I would not recommend a 900 pipe on an 1100. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.... You will be sacrificing hp.

You need to find the aftermarket exhaust that was made for the zxi. Not the coffman, the other one. Jet something?

Just use the stocker and blister the hull. If you don't want to do the work, don't do the swap.

the 900 chamber on an 1100 is supposed to increase peak rpm hp since it's shorter but it doesn't work well at all.the chamber is just as fat as the 1100,just shorter.

you can mill the manifold to bring the pipe in closer to engine a bit
