Difference in Ignition Coils?

Is there a difference in ignition coils on sj's? Mine is broke on my 760 and I was hoping I could take the one out of my 650 and put it in?

I don't think there is. It would be safe to try either way.

On a related note, the wires on my gp880's coil were constructed differently than other plug wires I've seen, they had wires spiraling around something in the middle, where my sj's wires are just straight wires. Is one design superior to the other?
