Difference in SJ midshaft housings?

I know the 1990-1993 SJ midshaft housings are different, but does anyone know what the difference in midshaft housings might be between the 1994 Superjet/FX1 midshaft bearing housing unit and the 1995 and up Superjet (and 1995 only FX1) midshaft bearing housing unit? The Yamaha part number for the 1994 is 99999-02643-00 and the 1995 and up is 61X-45332-03-94.

There is no difference unless one has a grease fitting port and the other doesn't. All 94 and up take the big housing and the same shaft. Superjet, fx1 , 93+ B1

Thanks for the reply. You're probably right about the grease fitting. Or maybe they simply machined in another snap ring groove(s) on the 1995 and newer housings to fit a wider variety of models. It was driving me crazy trying to find the differences between the two, because they looked physically the same size and everything.
