I'm installing a trim on my BOB in hopes for some more pop. I have two different nozzles to choose from and just wondering which would be best for flatwater riding. Both came off waveraider and seem to both have same size bore (stock mm whatever size that is). One is stock but one is protec and extended. Can somebody tell me pros and cons and which would be better to use for freestyle. 20140803_134206.jpg

Stock works fine. I have a shortened pro tec and will be going back to stock soon. Especially because after all my bore matching and machining, tuning etc, puts me super close to the stocker. And the stocker works better with xmetal trim and the b pipe coupler. Not sure you can run a coupler in there to tighten it all up like on an xmetal trim, or not. But if you can... It's totally worth it. HUGE difference in thrust on spins and flips compared to not running it. But then again, that's only because my pump tuning worked out that way on the ID's for reduction and steering.

Cool. Yeah will be xmetal trim and have the Coupler as a flow guard. Just seeing if an extended nozzle held any benifets. Was thinking the extension will allow more water to flow through=more thrust. I guess easiest move is just stay stock tho ha. Seems it's been working well with everyone else
