what are the adv/dis/ of doing a flatdeck on a squarenose superjet?
It's harder to mount the ski if you fall off because you don't have anything to brace your elbows on. You will have a quick session of relearning to ride because your stance will be wider and you'll have to weight your feet differently in turns than what you're used to. There is an increased risk of breaking your ankles because you don't have the sides to brace against. However, of all of those, the only one that I felt was a real issue was remounting the ski. Normally I'd just throw a knee up but if you've got a fast idle, that can be kind of difficult. You can't just slip off the back and while maintaining speed, get back on. You have to slow down to remount.
They are a lot of fun though. You have a ton of real estate to walk around on...
