disassemble of my superjet

now that the off season is coming up i am going to be breaking down my superjet i am handy i just never worked on a jetski b4 there all new to me. i want to pull the motor and the pump and my ski has a b pipe. Is there any short cuts that i should know or any order i should take it apart in?

1st remove battery and tray, 2nd remove fuel tank, then go to town on it.

Mark out which shims came where!
