650/X-2 Do I have a bad bendix?

Please give me some insight on, what will hopefully get my x2 running again.

This first video is when I took the flywheel cover off and tries to fire it up....

whats it doing with the flywheel cover on

With the cover on, I'm assuming it was doing the same thing. I could hear the starter spinning, but I never heard the flywheel spin for more than a second.

It may be bad bushings in the cases. There is a brass insert. It should have an oil groove but still be snug on the Bendix

Definitely the bendix.
Had the same issue a few times with different skis.
Pull the flywheel, replace with new OEM bendix, or what ever you'd like.
And drop a new one in.

Since on the bendix topic, when you take a bendix and shake it, it should not sound like a maraca right? I have two that sound like somethings rattleing but they worked fine when pulled. i also have another good working one that doesnt sound like that? Possible to take apart and regrease?
