Super Jet Do I need to use the intake 'shim' on a 62t with filled intake?

Just wondering. I see the point if you don't have a filled intake, you'd need the shim to seal the reed caged, but if your intake is filled, you have a flat area for the reeds and gasket to seat too.

Do I put it back in just because? Or does anyone have any other reasons to use or not to use it?

Thanks,
Steve
