haha

I tin the ends with solder, and twist them together.

the wires stick out of the hole in the dash where the swith USED to be, about 6 inches of wire, and a knot to hold them there.

Even my 10 year old son has the routine down.

twist the wires, go ride, beach it, untwist the wires.

CHEAP and reliable.

switches are for rich people. I run spade connectors.

Whatever you run, I think two redundant and different systems are a good idea.

I.E., a scupper works only if moving. A bilge pump runs only with battery power.

It is pretty nice to let the bilges refloat the ski after it sinks.

How is it different from dudes spade connectors?

even in fresh water its sometimes a sizzle if your hands are really saturated.

my 10 year old son can stand it though, I figure most of you guys could too.

it really isnt any different.....i used to cover about 2-3 inches of the wires in liquid tape....at least then you dont have to touch bare metal.....

nothing like 600 CCA of oddysey power to wake you up on a sunday morning....

Yeah. Until you try that in salt water.

EDIT: Damn, beaten to it. But if you got your boy doing it, what's the harm? :haha:

I'm assuming this water problem is isolated to Superjets or flatwater tricks? I've been freeriding for 24 years and only sunk a ski once due to a lost engine cover and I don't think a scupper or bilge pumps would have helped.

My FX-1 can be stuffed and re-stuffed without a water ingestion problem, but I know the superjets I ride with seem to take on water like they don't even have a hood seal (and they have a good seal).

What's causing all the water ingestion?? Does the Superjet hood design suck??
