Do Skis Slide In Snow?

All I could think when I read this thread is starting a ski in the snow and making snow cones!

I'm pretty sure my wife thought I was going to start the ski in the snow. She won't admit that she was thinking it though.

I have to get my SJ from my garage into my walkout basement. Normally I put it on the trailer and walk it down the hill. So far today we have gotten probably close to 6" of snow, so I don't think that is going to work. I'm thinking of setting it at the top of the hill and just pushing it down. Thoughts?

Here is my view for the day at work:

Snow is no problem, you just have to run a much lower pitch on the impeller.
