Super Jet Do you all use underpad?

I ran the 1" plush Hydro-Turf underpadding on my SJ. After 4 seasons there were not any indentations to be found, and I rode in foot straps with my feet in the exact same position during every single ride.

Lastly, I am sorry you feel belittled - but I, for the life of me, cannot figure out what in my two sentences was belittling to you.

Not a huge deal man, I'm not crying in a corner. It's just that the thread was on under-padding, not companies that sponsor events and the original comment almost implies that buying from an event sponsor some how makes your solution better than others.

I know the stuff that HT sells is way better to use. Of course it is... its made by an event sponsor that listens to our needs.

I just like to use cheaper, locally available alternatives (even if they have flaws) at times so when/if I mess up cutting or gluing I don't feel like I wasted $20 plus shipping and then have to wait another week to get a replacement. I just ordered turf it took 8 days to get to my house...

I wouldn't use the gym-mat method on an aftermarket hull for sure... but an old SN i'm gonna use as a backup ski I sure will.

Paddings cheap, i just ordered $100 in stuff from hydro turf. Padding is key to me bouncing back off a crappy land and keeping me where i should be without looking down
