Hi All,

Just got my Jetmaniac Freestyle ported 718 and am trying to get it back into the ski and had some questions about the newly modified intake tract.

With the massively opened up intake tracts do you recommend still using the thin aluminum spacer plate that goes between the intake and the block?

If not, what gaskets do you use? As the stock gaskets have the same opening as the plate.

What difference would using a straight or angled spacer plate make? Would it affect the tuning much

Big thanks to everyone who takes the time,
Dan

If I remember right, that plate is only used when you still have the crossover passage in the manifold. If it's been filled, no need for the plate and second gasket.

I'm probably wrong.

i thought they were to pull the reeds out of the hot spot on the motor to prolong reed tips and allow an easier flow to the bigger transfers...?
