Was Brads ski I'm pretty sure. Sold this spring.

Did the current guy ask for a " deposit " first? Because very often in the car scene with the rare older jap cars like Supras, rx7s, nsx, skylines there are rip off scams of pics with people's cars ( my supra was used ) to sucker a guy into a $3,500 down payment to hold the car. I always thought about it happening in the Am jet ski world sadly.

I find that a lot on craigslist. They pull pics off ebay, make up some story and start fishing for suckers.

I was emailing a guy about a truck a few years ago. Broken English was a dead give away, details were sketchy, said truck was on the east coast and he was deployed but the plates on the truck were from Minnesota or something. Lot's of red flags if you're watching for them.

Nowadays, I treat every craigslist add as a scam until proven otherwise.

Just ask for another photo at a different angle and say toss a can of beer/soda/whatver in the tray. If he cant produce it, its a scam.
