I am geting my new B-Pipe this Friday and will be installing my Riva Girdled head at that time. This is on a '08 SJ and I was wondering a few things so I dont run into any issues that would keep me from ridding this weekend.
I know on the ADA head that some minor trimming of the stock flame arrestor will allow fitment over the head, what about this Riva girdled head? It is so rectangular that it seems like it would cause clearance issues. Does anybody have firsthand experience with this head?
Also in the Factory Pipe instructions they say to remove the fuel tank and battery for the install, is this really necessary? Seems like it would be reather easy without removal, maybe because of the new SJ being wider up front?
Am I supposed to be running the BR8ES plugs with this head?
Thanks for the assistance...
