99 or 100 motor octane would be plenty for 200lbs cranking compression on an unported motor. I don't believe you really have that much compression. What brand starter do you have in your boat?

Just like the cooling lines, you fools obviously have no idea what you're doing.
:cool2: I really hope that's your very dry sarcasm Mike.
I don't know where you get that. Octane booster will not make race gas out of pump gas, but it will make pump gas useable in a higher compression motor in a pinch.

Yes, the booster will bump the octane to a safer level while it does not give it the properties of racesgas, the reasoning I gave is due to the fact that Octane Boosters can deteriorate the diaphrams and reeds. But hey, what do I know
Don't make me get the belt!!! :clown: :clown: :highhorse:
if these are ADA 35cc domes on a stock cyl. you are not at 200 PSI, are you sure these are 35cc? If they are 33cc I will trade you for some 35cc. If they are 35cc domes get another compression ga.
Just for reference, at sea level with 35cc Riva domes/head, I see 160psi on a less than average guage.
Hey Dan, if need be, I can mail you my Craftsman gauge for testing.
Let me know.
