After using a new DVM it appears it is my pulser coil which has zero resistance (open). My stator coil actually ohmed out ok on the new DVM..around 514.
So, I pulled my flywheel cover and that is where it got REAL ugly. Full of premix and metal shavings. FML. I am guessing my crank seal let go, but no idea where he shavings came from. I will pull the flywheel tonight. I gave up investigating it over the weekend, because it was just more bad news the further I dug into it.
Oh, and my battery is fine. I actually tried two different fully charged Odyssey 625s during initial testing.
