Dogs at SFF

Posting this on behalf of my fiancé, and the more I though about it the more I thought it would be a good thread. She wanted me to post a picture of our dog and let everyone know his behavior incase we are not around..... So if you are bringing a dog, post his/her pick and let everyone know his behavior.

This is our dog Finn that will be at the ride. He is super friendly to people and will do nothing but lick you to death and swim in the lake with you until you can no longer hold yourself above water. He is however picky about other dogs. He has never bit any other dog but does growl and spit a big game. Some dogs he is fine with, some he has a attitude towards.

So, if you see him, be more than happy to come up to him and pet him ect... if you please. If you are wanting to bring another dog close to him, make sure both dogs are leashed just to be safe!

Kovy will be there carrying beer. lol jk
He's friendly but can be timid at times to strange things... He doesn't like the clicking noises of a pen for example, hair dryers... (even though he was clicker trained)
He hates water as well.
He's spoiled and goes to doggy dare on a weekly basis and plays with all sorts of dogs.

my girl will have her pit lab mix if she decides to come. friendly toward most people and dogs but can be too playful toward some dogs. never hurt anyone but she can be intimidating. she will be leashed the whole time so just ask if it is ok before bringing other dogs to her or petting her. black pit lab with pink harness or choke collar on. sorry dont have any pictures.

My dog teddy may or may not be there. He is a lab/pointer??? Very friendly, LOVES women. He is playful with other dogs however when he plays he nips and growls sometimes which some may construe as being mean. He is will growl with sticks/rocks (no idea why he likes rocks so much)/toys to other dogs if he is playing and they try to take it. Terrified of fireworks!!

We may have to bring sprocket if the sitters doesn't work out. He's a big baby, but like
Others can talk a big game lol
He's not that socialized and that's my fault. He has no problem with smaller dogs or females. Just larger males.

The truth is most of the time it's the hovering owners that make dogs uneasy and on edge with other dogs. If left alone they will generally straighten things out. Problem is most "helicopter parent" style owners cause their dogs to be uneasy or make their dogs look weak to others when order is trying to be established.

Tsst! Caesar has spoken!

If you've been to the CB Free Ride than you've probably met Cali! She is very friendly with people (adults and children) and absolutely loves jet skis. She may chase you as you ride away from the beach or snap at your exhaust. She generally gets along great with other dogs but if there is a toy involved she will get defensive. She is also a very vocal player and hates trees :D
