Anyone bring a dog to Daytona before? I'm assuming they are allowed on the beach. Staying at the Coral. I need to call them.

no dogs on daytona beach, but the ride is dog friendly...at least the makai and driftwood are, not sure about the coral....so long as you keep it on the makai property you'll be good..

but the beach, no dogs on volusia county beachs

My dog was there everyday last year. He is small and hung out in the back of our box truck most of the weekend but he was out a little bit and no one cared or noticed one or the other. I also saw at least one other dog on the sand.

It is really up to the discretion of the beach patrol. Technically you are not even supposed to have them in your vehicle on the beach.

I'm bringing an ostrich and an alpaca. Are they prohibited as well?

i am bringing my poodle with me she loves jet skis and since i am going for two weeks my doggie does not like me gone for that long, she is the greatest passenger never complains, she loves amercian rest areas, she says they are better then canadian ones, she also loves arbys she orders double beef a little gravy hold the bread, we are staying at the world famous driftwood hotel which is under new ownership and dogs are allowed has a nice fenced in backyard and rooms still avaliable, remeber the driftwood is not the ritz carlton, different owners now and they fixed up the place a bit new beds and aplliances
