DOMINATOR 2 Cycle Oil?

what about marine pro by Maxima.. it has seemed to work really well for me for the last couple of years... Dominator would be cool but no one sells it here at the motorcycle shops

I've been running the HP Injector oil by Amsoil for the last 6 years. It's a little bit cheaper than the others. I haven't had any issues with it either. I ran it all the time in my 550 with great results and now in my SJ. I couldn't bother spending the extra little bit of money on the others when the HP Injector still works great.

Yeah I guess not:

"Some manufacturers are using a combination of detergent types (Ashless and Low Ash) to provide a broader range of uses for their oil. It is important to note that oil designed to meet TCW3 specs. only (Ashless) will not protect an engine requiring API-TC (Low Ash) type oil. The converse is also true. Using a Low Ash oil in an engine designed for an Ashless type oil only could result in fouled plugs and gummy combustion chambers. "

Sure, SeaDoo . . . but we're talking about skis that matter.

IF You knew for sure $8.00/gal Walmart oil was safe for high compression motors think about this one: 10 gals of castor 927 $400.00...10 gals of walmart $80.00....difference $320.00 which pays for a top end kit and hone or bore if needed every 10 gals of oil...then u have a fresh motor again...someone can offer to test/try this formula out...

I've asked for someone/anyone to provide proof on numerous occasions that these high priced oils work better than the cheaper stuff and never have seen any proof offered .
It's just peace of mind for some people to use the expensive stuff .

I've run Pennzoil in all my outboards and skis forever. Never had a problem. Motors always looked like new when I've pulled the heads. I'll pocket the money I save by not throwing it to the snake oil salesmen. Not saying the expensive stuff is no good, just saying it is no better in most cases.

I ran that cheap stuff in my 01 SJ for years. It was setup with 230 PSI compression and then a few years later I went down to 200 and a dry pipe with some timing advance. I ran that thing like it was a rental on cheap oil. Never had a problem So I trust it... Plus do you think walmart has their own refinery??? probably not so someone else packages and labels their oil for them. Probably penzoil
