Done With The Turf!!! Pics!

Well I went with the black turf for the fact that I wanted molded turf. It came out pretty good. I still need to do my chin pad but the turf on that is being a biotch comming off!!! I was also happy I was able to do my rails with only 1 seam on each side. Here are some pics of the progress.

As of right now I still have the 7-up bottle. I have to order the yamaha one. lol

What footholds r those?, I just finished glassing cyclones in and turffing real soon. Any tips on your experience turffing (do's & dont's).

Those ate 24-7 foot holds. One recomendations I can make is use a electric heat gun to get the turf soft it is much easier to work with. Also make sure your contact cement is good and dry before applying the turf. Its not hard, just take your time and you can use cardboard to make yourself templates.

Saw this sat. it looks spuer killer way clean job. I wasn't sure the black would look good with that paint but after seeing it I don't think anything else would have looked right. Do i let the contact cement get dry to the touch before I start putting the mats on?,I'll have the heat gun ready when i start.

Yes the contact cement MUST be dry to the touch on both the ski and the hydroturf. When turfing on any bends or curves use the heat gun to mold the hydro turf to the curves. Like I said, just take your time and you will do fine.
