Welcome! I have a good friend who is 6'4" and right around 3 biscuits. He's not a Standup rider, but he has ridden a SN and enjoyed it. I mean, you have to fall down a bunch before you get good. Thats the fun, the challange!

Anyway, great story, fun to read. Sounds like you got a smokin deal on a 3D and you're having a ball. If carving bouy's is what you enjoy, I'd keep an eye out for an SXR for sure.

DUDE, For real, ride what you have fun on. Progress as YOU want, 3D, HX, Baster, SXR whatever you enjoy thrashing on and give it everything you got and when you have more than what your current ride has to offer move to the next challenge in line.
I dont care what anyone rides, a couch or a standup if your beating it for everything you can get out of it then your having fun right.
Alot of peeps think I am lame for riding a ZX6R bike instead of a 1000cc but hell I havent mastered the 600 for everything it and the mods I have added can offer soe why go bigger?
Its awesome your into what you do for a living IMO and everyone around ya should be JELLY!!!!!!

Thanks for understanding guys, and ya, that dude in the video is nuts, looks like a ton of fun. I've been dyin to go ride some surf, but none of my buddies want to go. We got Sebastian right up the road from us, and I'm familiar with the surf out there, that's where we ride for work. We do all our stand up ridin in a private lake down the road, if anyone is ever in the area and wants to do some lake ridin, lemme know. Have a pretty good setup out there.

a new superjet seems to be much more buoyant than the square noses IMO. then again, I've only ridden a square maybe 5 times ever.

I'm 260 and I can ride any type of ski, a local rider in Vegas has a fx1 and he weighs 300lbs he rides it around just fine once he got used to it
