waves where big but i kept waiting for one of them to launch into space off one and then a let down. I dont have the sack to launch off a monster like that at full speed but come on they could have hit one at half throttle just to say LOOK AT THE MONSTER I JUMPED!!!!

People need to stop claiming tweaked backflips with you head turned an 'under flip'.
You must have missed the huge rocks out there, along with thinking about what would have happened if your backy or roll didn't go perfectly.
Gil Beurnier is a certified legend in the freeride community IMO, look him up.
You will probably find videos along the lines of huge double backy attempts (which could probably pass as the first double backy on video).

The video may have been boring, but i bet those guys were shytting their pants out there. Ive never been up against waves like that, but i would bet everything i have i would give the same respect they did in this video. When it comes to waves of that size, jumping them would be the last thing on my mind. (its close to the last thing on my mind in general, but you get my point)

I dont see anyone jumping the wave in the background or even near it. Im not trying to start a war, just saying waves that size are powerful and bigger than people think. its tough to portray in a video. thats the only point im trying to make. not saying it hasnt been done. sheesh
