double standup trailer questions

How wide should the bunk be for a superjet? I am building a double trailer this week and my skis are not accessiable?
Please note that I am planning on mounting the bunks so the 1.5" side of the 2x4 touches the bottom of the skis.
Thanks guys!

I use the narrow part of the 2x4 on mine... measure between the chines on the rear of the hull on each side of the ride plate... they're something like 12.5"s apart. that's the perfect spot...

For my X2 it is like 12 or 14 inches center of 2x4 to 2x4.

Just make them adjustable. Just drill a series of mounting holes for whatever bracket you use 1/2" apart. You WILL have to adjust them for another kind of ski at some point in time. No need to limit yourself.

Do you guys think 2 stand ups could fit on a single sit down trailer? One of our seadoo trailers is fairly wide for a single trailer and has adjustable bunks. Im wondering if i can make 2 more bunks and squeeze a 550 and SJ on there for a few trips

That is what my double trailer is. It was originally a sit down trailer that was converted to hold two stand ups.

12.5" center to center / 2x4 on its end / I'm trying to figure a way to put two on a Yacht Club single PWC trailer its tight. Very tight. Ya should be able to do it.
