Been a while since updating. It’s post 9 weeks this past thursday from the time of my surgery. Started PT a couple weeks ago and the therapist seems to be happy at this point with progress. l worked a full 3 days this week, so things seem to be getting back to normal. But 5 lbs is a little bit more than l can handle (mostly my wrist) right now. Only reason l know is because my female yorkie weighs that amount. :) Movement is good and can use the hand for most of the things with my job. No pain, just sore the next day from using it. Still is gonna be a while before l hop on a ski again. Hoping when Lundy’s has his gathering in August l will be well enough to ride.

Yep I have one similar it helped me out a lot with carpal tunnel .I think mine is a NSD Powerball.
If you get one make sure it has autostart, my first one had a string you had to wind and get it started, with autostart you just rotate the ball backwards and let it go. I posted a link up on PWCT about them and I guess it sold quite a few of them because they sent me an Autostart powerball for free.

Got out for the first time to ride since surgery (13 weeks). Felt great to be back on a ski again. Hand was good holding the grip, but not liking too much throttle, pulls on the wrist a bit much. l did wear a brace just to play it safe. Overall l feel good on the recovery and looking to finishing out the season. We can ride through December (most years) in NE Tenn so still have some time.
