Downhill - New Bike

I'm new to downhill and just picked up a full suspension bike.. 2018 Cannondale Jekyll 4
and im coming from a hard-tail .. '14 Specialized Rockhopper 29er

If anyone wants to ride - I ride at Mountain Creek in North Jersey. The Jekyll works well there and i've been pushing my comfort and hitting larger jumps and drops.

Ive been waiting to go to a downhill park, just havent made it up to the mountains for that yet. But I have a feeling I will get addicted after the first time.

I went once and rented a Scott Gambler .. it was enough for me to buy the Jekyll. I decided on the all-mountain bike because I wanted something to work everywhere.
You need to give it a try!

Heck yea! I upgrade my bike a couple months ago as well. I went with something that was a little overkill for local trails, but would do great in the mountains.

Nice bike! That is perfect for a downhill park. IMO its worth the investment.

I have a bunch of friends that rock the Creek park at least once a week.

I usually go by myself and I find that people are generally friendly. Its a good park.
