O.k. You need to specify wtf your actually talking about. Hitches, i.e. receivers, come in 1 1/4, 2, 2 1/2 and 3. Ball shanks come in 7/8, 1, and 1 1/4. Ball sizes come in 1 7/8, 2, and 2 5/16. (and I meant to say 1 1/4 for the ball shank, not 2 1/4. The term "shank" is used for the ball shaft, aka shank, not the actual ball mount, or drawbar. We had a miscommunication there.)

Every one has a slightly different term for all parts of a hitch. It's much easier to figure out wtf we're talking about in person, or verbally. Just please make sure all of your components are rated for your needs. That is all.
