Dry pipe vs wet pipe for freestyle

What's a better set up for a freestyle freeride ski ? Dry or wet ?

Are dry pipes louder then a wet pipe ?

Never tried one or rode one. Have used tnt chambers and they are better then the factory pipe chambers but it's marginal. If you want seat of pants gain. Go dry.

C4's are supposed to be a little better then the Factory blaster Mod chambers. Although if you have the money TnT is made a new pipe to compete with the rrp

One more thing I will add and I leave you alone. I was told i would have nothing but trouble with this pipe there junk won't stay together blows couplers etc... This has been flipped, rolled numerous times. Still on first coupler and o ring. Don't believe everything you hear and read on line. If I had I would have never given this a shot and would be less then thrilled with my setup.

With my compression and the dry pipe I run leaded 110 gas and castor 927 to be safe.

This pipe blew many a coupler and o - ring until Chris figured out all the tricks to getting it set up correctly. Then still blew some.

I'm not sure if there was ever one made for the SX-R but I can tell you the race version Speedwerx dry pipe I am running is crazy powerful from bottom to top. I can be just off of idle, blip the throttle and send the nose and ski straight up out of the water. I've not ever had a chance to try a Factory B to compare but this thing makes so much power as it is I really don't want to try a Factory B. I can tell you that my current setup is easily twice as strong and potent as my buddy's virtually stock SX-R with only an R&D head. His ski used to feel strong to me, now with my ski running right, his feels very scaled back by comparison. I have barrel flopped a plenty with my dry pipe and never once an issue. I'm still barrel flopping lol, one day I will figure it out :D

Worked well enough for me. I'm not hung up on numbers long as it runs like it should.
