are they tapped with threads?? I remember reading the article in SPLASH about the pipe and how you could put jets in there to tune it...... May have been that you could drill it and tap for threads then add jetting.

They're not tapped with threads. I suppose you could drill and tap the existing hole to accept a main or pilot jet and screw it in.
