Dual Blackjacks question

So i received my new dual 46 blackjacks today and was also supposed to receive the zero backlash coupler which i thought was the piece to connect the carbs together. Am I right or am I wrong? Wanted to double check before i contacted Art.

They are junk after a few rides there's always a gap.in-between the 2 get the rubber ones...

Look closely in the boxes or down the carbs. His son is helping him out an likes to put things in less then desirable locations.

You need to properly shim both sides and locktite all set screws.
If you install it right and don't half-ass it, that coupler is the best out there.

Agree here
Installed properly te are some the best out there . Now they will wear out if your carbs are twisted and not aligned properly which the mikuni is more forgiving but has more play at the same time

Any tricks i should know? this my first time setting carbs up like this.

I like these ones, which he sent with my setup.

I wouldnt sudgest these but if you do keep a close eye on them. I had one slip on the teeth im asuming when one side of the carb got stuck as i allways WD40 my motor after each ride it may had perished the rubber? i had a Cable tie holding the teather in and due to it slipping the ski was stuck on WOT on one carb with no one onboard.. i always run the jetworks zero backlash now.

mine are 3 yrs old and perfect as well...
