Dual Carb Tuning for dummies

I searched for tuning so no one get all upset or anything about another carb tuning post. I did found a few but I need one for dummies, all the other ones give numbers and etc etc. I need for someone to speak to me in simple mode. Either explain what the lingo or let me explain what I have to help me.

I have a Dual 38mm Round BN carbs ( I know i know get SBN but this is what I have now) they are currently working fine and the person i bought it off said they where tunedwhen he took them off his ski. I kinda do not wanna trust that so on my carb I only see and idle screw, Low jet screw and a high jet screw. I assume the low jet screw is the one by the idle screw.

So in simple form if I was to close the screws all the way (Clockwise) how many turns out on the low and the high do you recommend? This is on my 650sx , only has a milled head with complete westcoast exhaust.

start with the low, go all the way in and and go 1/4 turn at a time out. my kawi only need i think one 1/4 turn out for low, dont remeber the high. but start with the low and see how how it runs, then do your high. try and do this in the water so you can ride and test each after each turn.
