SXR Dual cooling with wet pipe.

Hey guys. Sorry if this seems redundant, but the way the directions are worded gets me more confused than a homeless person on house arrest. Working with a 2010 SXR with a wet pipe and two water in lines from the pump. Pleaze help. Obviously the two "out" of the head are to overboard. And then it all makes little sense. And on a side note......What are thoughts on using the stock bilge through hull pipe for an electric bilge "out". As an auto mech for 23 years it pains me to drill holes into the exterior paint of newer stuff (i know that i have to put in another "pisser" but the less holes the better). I mean I will if I have too, but would love not to. Thanks tons guys.

P.S. I tried to force springtime last friday and there is a snowstorm going on right now. Took my snow tires off and everything. FML

just put a duck bill or versa plug in the back instead of the drain plug and leave the stock bilge. dual cooling from the pump both go to the bottom of the EX mani, unless you want one to cool the motor and one to cool the pipe. or you can T it where it comes in and run half to the mani, 1/2 to the pipe. its all about water in and water out. i kind of like both cooling the motor. i'd rather burn up rubber couplers , than motors , if necessary.

I believe the stock bilge is a little bigger diameter then the other lines right? Well in any case I run one line to my manifold and one to my pipe on a dry pipe set-up. The waterline to manifold though is a bigger diameter all the way from manifold through bulkhead to pump to accommodate more flow to the motor.

wet pipe set up was dual cooled as well one to motor, one to pipe

waterlines can be set up different ways on the same set up and can make a world of difference. For instance a stock class sxr when built for racing has a lot of thought on how and where the water lines are ran. Brian who's now with kommander has a wealth of knowledge on the subject

as much as you dont want to drill holes in your ski i think its best because you can monitor everything by the flow of the pissers. if you route your pipe outlet out the stock outlet beside the pump you wont be able to see if water is flowing or if your pipe is clogged, then it could be to late.

i like the fact you can see all your cooling by looking down, just a thought

cheers!
