I wanna put dual pulse lines on my kaw 850 but I have a couple questions. I have an r&d manifold that have two potential bosses for pulse lines but would that affect the pulse signal being mounted before the reeds? I could then just block off my factory pulse on the case. I would just drill out the other side on the case but there is that funky rib there to grind out, which is what might do anyway. Regardless any ones help would be greatly appreciated.

pulse line must be from crankcase as it cycles
positive and negative pressure to drive the fuel pump.
the reeds work like a check valve and block positive pressure from going to the carbs
a pulse fitting above the reeds will give poor pulse signal
and poor fuel pumping capacity

You need to put your 2nd pulse line on the cases just like the 1st pulse line. Don't bother using a T fitting on the 1st, either. That will give poor signal to the pumps.
