SX/SXi/SXi Pro duel carb pump primer question,please help if you can.

i am installing a pump primer on my 750 and i put pump primer nipples on both carbs,is this necessary or do you only need to prime one carb,i put nipples on both carbs because i was afraid of waring out the cylinders unevenly on primed cold starts,was this the correct way or is it overkill,thanks.

you are correct to prime both carbs.
