That is just spray paint that you can spray with a gun. REAL paint requires hardener & reducer.
The several Carquest auto parts places near me sell PPG Omni and NAPA sells Sherwin Williams auto paint. Or call a local auto body shop and ask for the # for the supplier where they get their paint.

Actually its a lacquer paint which is ok but you really can't just spray it and call it done, I did the X2 with Duplicolor paint, it has held up pretty well. After you spray the paint and let it dry you wet sand it with 1000-1500 paper and buff it,after that it is slick as owl sheet.

The paint industry has been phasing out acrylic laquer paint for 10-15 years now.
Commonly refered to as "cracker laquer", but I thought it worked well considering what it was..
I used to use it a looong time ago. Reduce down with laquer thinner, spay multiple coats, dries REAL fast. Can wet sand and buff on it fast too.

It actually holds up well. Its just not "green" friendly anymore.

i still have many cans of "Sher-laq" from Sherman Williams in my paint closet yet.

off the original topic, but is "touch-up" paint for autobody work essentially the same product that was layed down initially, or is it another product that is color code matched?

where can you find a variety of good spray paint?

Ive used black epoxy paint which held up REALLY well...also black laquer from ACE which held up pretty well, but not as good as the epoxy..

but hard to find anything other than black and white....
