Custom/Hybrid Dustin's BOB

As some of you know I am the owner of the visual carbon generation 2 bob. I just picked it up yesterday and rode briefly today. Pictures and video to come! I only made a few small changes compared to my last bob. Besides the hull I switched to rrp riser bars and I added a kart tank. Other than those two things the drive terrain is exactly the same. The hull weighs out at 240lbs RTR without fuel.
I cant wait to to get some serious ride time and then give a good review. Derrick and the crew at the Ski clinic are top notch people and are loyal to each one of their customers and take tons of pride in their work. Thank you guys!

Here is some quick shots from Sunday. I have some really good video I just can't get it off if the camera on to my computer. I am going to try again later this week on my laptop. Hopefully some video soon:headbang:

Not much! I haven't ridden in almost 2 months. My brother has spent way more time on the boat than I have. I will have to get him on here to have him give his opinion. The way things are it looks like all of April and the first part of May are out for me riding. It sucks to have such a nice boat and I have no time to ride right now. Getting older and having to work more sucks!

I am just testing! I am setting my brother up with an account since he is going to be riding a lot more than me this year.

So as a few of you know Dustin Broke his foot last weekend while riding. So he has given me the ski to ride for a few weeks! On the condition that I sign up on the forum, it sounded fair to me so here I am!
I have been riding for about five years and currently have a 2002 stock superjet. (and a Gen 2 BOB for a few weeks)! I have been fortunate enough in my short riding time to ride both GEN 1 and GEN 2 BOBS and all I can say is that they are both extremely fun to ride. Late last summer I rode the Blue Gen 1 bob for a few times and in within a couple of days I was occasionally landing flips off of a boat wake and I don’t consider myself a great rider. The Gen 1 was a little difficult to get used to at first it was shorter than I was used to and it liked to be thrown around something that I wasn’t used to doing! Just about the time I was really getting used to it Dustin Sold it to a friend. Then picked up his visual GEN 2 BOB.
I don’t have but 2 hrs. on this ski but it is by far the best ski that I have ever ridden. Hands Down! This ski wants to flip it sits high in the water and the motor that is in it has tons of Pop and plenty of power to do a flat water backy if you have the skills. Unfortunately I am not that good yet! I can get ¾ around or to where the nose enters the water but have not stuck a plate to plate yet! Hopefully a few more rides I will get it down. I also haven’t been fortunate enough yet to hit any boat wakes. Although I am more than confident that I will be able to stick those more times than not! I rode for a while last night and when I talked to Dustin I told him that this ski is unreal! I really like the set up and want to ride one with a bit bigger motor. Just to see if I could nail down a flat water backflip!
I have attached some PICS from yesterday. And I will try to keep you guys updated on my progress. IF you have any questions I’ll try to get answer them!

It is a jetmanic 62t/61x freestyle ported motor with a stock pump with a 9/15 hooker prop. It is same setup from the first BOB (Gen 1 Blue Ski)! If you go back the details are on the first page!

This afternoon I got some video of my brother riding. He almost has the flip down a little more time and practice he should be able to get it. Here is the link
