Freestyle Dvx rebuild by P&P performance

Usually I build mine own skis and others, but after talking with phil at P&P performance and seeing his work, I knew I wanted my ski to be perfect and the details he puts into the builds I had to have. He goes above and beyond on his builds. It's all about the little details that make a build cleaner, easier to work on, consistent, and function better.
On top of his build skills, phil is THE best tuner out there.

The ski was fully rebuilt. Fixed tons of major cracks, paint and turf, rebuild motor, rebuild pump, new steering and cables, new electronics and wiring, and all the odds and ends.

Here are some pictures of the rebuild when I got the ski back.
I'll post details as I add more photos.

If you ever want total loss, or have it and want it cleaned up. Send it to phil at P&P performance. He has the best plate and wiring out there. Plate is fully threaded so no nuts to deal with. He uses the shifty mod. And all his kits are 100% the same so they are consistent. Built so everything can be checked and tested or replaced easily.

I had phil build me 2 complete kits so I could swap if needed. It's all plug and play, can swap it in minutes if I'm in a pinch.

Before and after pictures.

Phil is so picky, he left me with this many old bolts that he replaced with all allens and new bolts.

When it comes to turf, this is where Penny comes in and works her magic.
They have turfed so many skis and played with every kind of foothold/heal blocks that they have it figured out.
I don't care for heal holds, they built the holds to fit so tight, i do not need them. In fact I couldn't get my foot out a couple times when I went for 1 footers.

They can and will build the best heal holds if you want them though.

The bottom platform is made to come out when you need to replace the worn turf. No need to rip everything out.

For steering, Phil runs the new ADA steering that is made for the x metal pole and fits with no modifications.
Completely different bearing set up, and locking mechanism so the steering won't come loose and you can tighten the bolt as tight as you can get it.

Also set up for fat bars so you won't bend the weak straight x metal bars.

Got the ski home and got my new graphics on.. it's just an ole superjet..lol

The chin pad will be purple. I have the purple vinyl for it, but I need to clear the chin pad so it will stick better.

Thanks man! He was great to deal with the the ski came back better than ever. Pretty crazy because it was previously built by one of the best out there.

That decal is awsome, your right clean work. I like how the coil is on the exhaust side so the wires are close and short to plugs. Those shoes too :)
