E 85...... and you

Besides mixing with oil, I would think that since it is 85% alcohol that you would have to jet a lot bigger to make it run right. The cars that are designed to run on this crap have sensors to make the FI adjust when you fill up with it. I think E85 is a BS effort, it might make better emissions but if you get worse mileage why bother?

The only place I'd use E85 is in a forced induction engine, that is already pushing the limits on 93 octane. It's great as a cheap alternative to race gas, IN A CAR. The ethanol and gasoline will separate when exposed to water as well.
