You've seen me ride, I'm not exactly pushing the limits of anything to the point of breaking me or my ride.
Never have, never will.

I'm a "cover lots of ground and check out the sights", not a "go big or go home" type rider.

I know you want electric but everything you are looking for to explore, see the sights and generally cruise around can be had pretty cheap, you just can’t kill them and if you decide to move on the prices don’t really change. And it’s street legal.

But it’s the opposite of high tech electric, about as low tech as it gets.

The sur ron and Segway are the same bike btw, the only difference being you can remove the limiter with a cell phone app on the Segway vs cutting a wire on the sur ron, iirc it’s like $1000 difference for that convenience and I can cut a wire faster than I can download an app lol

Just for reference if I turn my Levo up to 100% power assist I can ride and not raise my heartrate much at all. The back tire will slide out while going up hill, exc. Other than your legs not stationary on pegs not much difference than a ebike (disclaimer, never rode a ebike). I was really surprised how much power these eMTB's can thrown down with very little human effort in terms of 'peddle assist'. I think you will really like and get more use out of one. And if you ever decided to want a workout just dial back the power.

Yea, when I took a Levo for my first test ride, it almost scared the poop out of me on the trails. Made me think I was actually insanely good at mountain biking, and then I went back to my normal peasant pedal bike :p :p

A few things to consider:
-They are a powered vehicle. They rip up trails the same as a gas dirtbike so no you cannot ride them anywhere.
-They have absurdly low range and take forever to recharge. Overnight trips are not an option.
- Dirtbikes hurt people. You are less at risk dragging an elbow at 150mph leaned over on a racetrack with a sportbike.
- You don't get exciting noises and vibrations from the engine, since it doesn't have one.
