Yeah, I think BRP is finally making some use of the Alta battery knowledge they bought. Street bikes and efoils. How about a damn dirt bike!? Ugh.

My wife saw something about Fliteboard in the local news and now she won't stop bugging me about it. She thinks I'll get rid of my old Superjet for one of those. Ha!

My wife and I did a 2 hr session. On the LIFT . Brand.
Controllers were super easy to use. .
Things had a lot of power .
Super fun to ride after a learning curve .
Price is steep but there are cheaper ones out there

Bring everyone up to speed on how awesome Alta was. Hopefully BRP doesn't ruin it. :)

There's a guy up here that's into these e-foils. He teaches how to run them etc but has been handed several fines because there's no regulations on them here yet. They're a powered craft, do about 20 mph, have no way to display a vessel registration but have no classification yet. Because of that they're technically not permitted on the water so he keeps getting tickets for use of an unauthorized vessel. They do scootch right along though. VERY hard to see at distances past 40 feet if the operator isn't wearing anything really bright. He's almost been hit a good few times from boaters because he's so small and camoflaged to the dark water when in a welsuit and his typical darker pfd.

Hey, BRP saved the 100 year old Milwaukee company Evinrude outboards when their FUCHT, I mean FICHT(and RAM) POS fuel injection systems about bankrupted them in the early 2000's. But yeah, they've done that too.

Always wanted to try one of these things, so cool. Hi Crab!

Maybe they did or maybe they just rode the brand names out for all they were worth them trashed them, BRP does some really weird stuff at times.

My buddy has one of these. He rides it in red bluff on the sac river pretty regularly. He's not in the greatest shape and still cruises around just fine. I thought it was very awkward to ride. Very powerful and critical of weight placement. But I only tried for maybe 20 minutes.
