Super Jet Ebox brackets: nut size and pitch

I searched the old sticky thread by 2Lick and couldn't locate this listed.

I was trying to use M8 x 1.25 (I think) with no luck.

Just tried a m8 1.25 that what it is on mine.

Kawasaki head or cylinder(i forget which)acorn nuts for me. Load them with grease and it keeps the salt from effing up the threads.

If you need some I have a bucket full on the shelf. About all the kawis are good for is spare Yamaha parts anyhow.

they are definitely m8x1.25.. run a thread chaser on the stud, maybe they are a little stripped?
