ebox stuck!?

ok, you ditched the brackets.....but I ditched those POS funky lock nuts on the inside where you need the special tool to take them off :banghead:

I promptly replaced them with nice and shiny hardware........

and sometimes those eboxes NEED to come out for preventative maintenance...

The same thing happened to my e-box and I dug around the stud with a sewing needle, jewelers screw driver and an x-acto knife.

It took me about twenty minutes of digging the corrosion area out and washing it with water before it would pry loose.

Hey--it's all they had at the hardware store and I already had the "special tool" necessary for proper tightening/loosening.

Speaking of tools...

My 12mm stubby is still missing from my collection. Have you seen it recently? :cool2:

damn.... this is odd :sneaky: :sneaky:

Yeah--no chit!!!

Usually Scott is blaming me for all the crap that went wrong with his ski:

1. Flooded electrical box. (100% my fault and I replaced ALL the components as soon as I could)

2. Non-rolling capabilities because of waterlogged foam.

3. Turf on rails came off due to improper installation (bolt holes not filled in).

You know the story...:cool2: :cheer:

Funny how the ONE good idea I had he takes credit for. :dunno:

This was my first SJ build and the paint was barely dry before he asked me what I would sell it for. I name a price---he accepts, I deliver the goods.

Hasn't he ever heard of "buyer beware"????!!!!???? :haha: :banghead:

Disclaimer: I mean no harm or insult by my post---just messing with the best eyedoc this side of the Mississippi (besides Shonuff).

I only attibute 98% of my inability to roll to the boat, I take full respsonsibility for the other 2%

not to mention the diamonds were not symmetrically layed out, "hydro-turf" was spelled wrong on the inner gunwales, and the footholds had too much padding  :afro:
