egbrig's 66e twin pipe blaster 1

Maybe with some encouragement we can get Erik to post pics of his blaster 1 with a 66e motor and twin pipes. He did an incredible job on modifying the pipes and the rest of the build is definatly high quality. I've only seen a couple of pics and would love to see more.

C'mon Erik

there are some on the sport class thread on pwc today.

great deal on the pipes you sold him too...........they showed up at my shop the other day.

i was going to post his pics but don't want to steal his thunder, his build is top notch and i'm so jealous. I've wanted that setup for years, thats what the pipes were for in the first place, i just havent had the time yet..

okay, here's one, sorry erik

OH GOD!! As if the magazine picture wasn't enough, now you guys are going to inflate his head even more! I am going to have to take him to the go kart track and whip his arse again just so we can get his head thru the doorway in his house...............

talk him into posting pics scottie, I'd like to see your setup also. it changes so often.

Erik just got a new job and I think he is out of town until this weekend, I am sure that is why he hasn't posted pics, yet. Trust me, I am sure he will post ASAP. He loves to show off that thing. You would think it was a trophy wife. :)

i agree his head is big. seeing eric is slow on posting pics does anybody have pics of the one in ohio. it is orange with twin pipe

I'm at Scott Robinson's right now with Scott Mck. Mck is painting and I'm sitting on my azz. Its funny, the only pic I have are the ones I've already posted but I'll do it again. BTW this is the first time Mck beat me on the gokart track in a long long time. I'll post pics of how its put together. Your going to laugh at the motor mount adaptors.

If you've seen Jason drive then you'ld know he has no chance. The adaptor plates are 3/16 th angle steel. I set it up so the right rear bolts directly through and to the original hull mount. The front mounts each use the front hole of the hull mounts. The left rear is mounted to the adaptor only. The adaptor does mount the left rear mount using both original hull mounts its just that I used pan head bolt under the motor mount. I had to take off a little off the motor mounts to get the engine to align. The stub shaft was adjusted to fit by cutting and remachining the threads as was the coupler. On the right rear I had to open up the engine plate hole to get it to fit.

Here are the pics of the pto pipe. If you look at the headers you will see that the silver one has a different angle on the flange o-ring. I cut the lord mount off and welded on one where it fit when I aligned it on the head mount I made. On the convergence pipe I cut and rotated the mid point. I welded on a lord mount flange to where it aligned most easliy to the hull.
