I cant wait to see Brandon lawlor at Pismo on the 17th and give him crap about hauling an $18000 jetski in a $500 truck. LOL

Oh the irony of this statement is just awesome lol. I know it was laid on thick when you were typing this and probably with a huge grin on your face. Buzz I'm surprised you haven't already ordered one just to have around for sh*ts and giggles.

@rhugo21 i didn't literally mean race gas. I meant not everyone is into gas, wrenching, tuning, etc. most shops won't even touch a 2 stroke watercraft anymore. It's hard to voice my opinion without knocking Krash. Just to be clear I'm NOT knocking Krash. What Krash is about to do helps us jetskiers and friends of us jetskiers that want to get into Jetskis.

What freeform is doing is could possibly be the BIGGEST game changer since 1974 when the js came out. Think if this was in skymall on an airplane flight?

There's only a few major components realistically on this thing. Battery, motor, ecm. They should be plug n play and don't need tuning. They don't need gas, or oil for that matter. This is treehugger, tesla owning, enviro friendly fun for everyone.

I get it and understand.

I just don't think we're ready for this. I just would hate to see our two strokes killed off too soon

I dont think it will by any means kill the two stroke, for me the run time and charge times are a real deal breaker. I would rather not pay 20 grand to ride for "up to" and hour and then wait up to four hours to charge it. And with what a gas filled generator on the beach? I agree with x2mafia that it will open the market to a different group of riders but as long as there is gas to burn there is going to be high performance two strokes. I really question the route krash is going, everyone has heard of the quality problems from some of the hull kits, not saying its all of them but it only really takes a few to put a sour taste in peoples mouth. Then they come out with a new motor that only uses their parts making it harder to keep your stuff running if there ends up being a part shortage from their factory for some reason? Just my thoughts on the deal
