Electric trim on x2

Anyone ever done it?

My freestyle trim isn't really working. And got a trim motor from a zxi and from a seadoo and might be rigging up a trim to allow full down- full up.

Think it would be hard?

I figured I would flip the trim so it is a pull up and push down. I would run trim cable thru the stock water siphon.

Well here's my effort to a electric trim.

Start/stop trim switch from zxi
94 seadoo xp trim motor and cable

I flipped the trim nozzle
Ran the cable thru the stock bilge line
Hooked the cable to the seadoo trim contraption. Wired everything up and boom it works. I did have to switch the trim wires to get the up and down right because of the flipped nozzle.

Not a really good freestyle option is it? I'm assuming that's what your looking for? I thing the sitdown trim motors are a little too slow. Just my opinion

Last year at the Erie ride, there was an older guy that had a bunch of crazy body mods on a couple x2's. He has an electric trim that he could program for whatever degree trim he wanted and it reacted really fast. Maybe some of the NY Erie area guys will chime in with more info.
