Super Jet Electrical starting problem

I hit the start button and nothing happens. I tested the relay and it was bad so I installed a new one and thought it would solve the problem. Now when I hit the start button the relay clicks but is still not cranking. The fuse is good. I tested the start/stop switch with a continuity tester and tested fine, its less than a year old. I jumped the two post of the relay with a screwdriver and it cranks so the starters good but I tried conecting the small black and brown wires to a battery and it doesnt do anything.:aargh4: What can it be? Thanks

Bad ground

I have continuity between the grounding screws in the e box and the neg on the battery. Could it be a bad ground in the stator?

If the stator ground was bad, then ebox wouldnt have ground since it is grounded by the stator.

But I have continuity between the neg on the battery and the grounding screw in the e box so doesnt that mean the stator ground is good or no?
