EME 1000 build

Nice Ski,

How much did it cost you in total???

Thanks

thanks iceman,

Every part on this ski I bought used, except for cables, prop, nozzle, water bypasses and finger throttle. It took alot of trading parts and waiting for good deals to get down to the actual money I have in it. I wont say how much, but its a bit less than half of a new one. Eric really helped out on this one. After buying the motor, he told me every specific detail of how to set it up. Considering he was selling used parts and he didnt have as much to gain for his business this was a huge bonus. Not having to jet the carbs, set the msd and play with 10 diff props is an incredible time saver (not to mention, piston saver). I've already let a lot of people ride this and plan to let many more, hopefully it earns Eric some future sales.

In retrospec, I prolly could have saved money by buying an eme1000 new 2 years ago instead of dumping money and precious time with another vendor trying to come up with a combination this incredible. Turnkey boats seem expensive until you really start adding things up.

I am glad things worked out for you man, :Banane35:

Time is a great issue and trust me i know..... we are facing a lot of problems with NEW setups, so having a USED engine with some new parts added and NO problems is a relief.....

The reason why I asked for the price is caz my friend recently bought a new Q8 from Malone and I felt like it was over priced!!

Anyways Enjoy your ski and keep us posted.

God Bless!!

No they went out of business for building junk in the snowmobile market. A market that is still thriving.
Its a shame jetskiing died out and killed Westcoast, PJS and other innovators.

Whos doing the EME 1000 motor now?
Are they still Crankshop cylinders?

How come people run so many different pumps sizes with liter motors. All the Rickter 1000's I have seen seem to be 148 12 vain setbacks.....but others run 145 or 146?
